STEVEN TODD SCHMALL represents construction contractors, homeowners, and others in collection efforts, lien foreclosures, tort matters, and federal civil rights cases. He has represented buyers and sellers of real estate, and he has represented investors in arbitration before the National Futures Association. He has served as an arbitration panelist for the Circuit Court of Cook County. He has tried felony and misdemeanor cases, including class X. He has represented debtors and creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies in four districts in three states. Mr. Schmall formerly was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois, an Administrative Hearing Officer for the Illinois Lottery, and the former local counsel for Howard University. He received both his BA and JD from Washington University in St. Louis.
